Brooks Koepka wins LIV Golf Greenbrier in a playoff over Rahm

Brooks Koepka secured his second LIV Golf League victory of the year on Sunday, clinching the win at The Greenbrier by defeating Jon Rahm in a playoff. Koepka shot a 7-under 73 in the final round, finishing at 19-under 191, the same as Rahm, forcing a playoff.

In the playoff on the par-3 18th hole, Rahm found himself in a challenging position after his shot landed in a bunker, with one foot in the sand. His recovery shot left him with a 25-foot par putt, which narrowly missed, giving Koepka the victory with a par.

This win adds to Koepka's triumph earlier this year at LIV Golf Singapore and marks his fifth career victory since the league's inception in June 2022. Jason Kokrak finished in third place with a score of 63, while Richard Bland, who had a chance to tie for the lead, ended up two shots behind after a bogey on the 18th hole.

Koepka's team, Smash, also took home the team title, winning by three shots.
