Markella Kavenagh shows off Elie Saab look at London ‘LOTR’ premiere

Australian actress Markella Kavenagh recently turned heads at the world premiere of "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" Season Two in London, wearing a stunning gown by the renowned Lebanese luxury label Elie Saab. The two-tone, floor-length ballgown was a standout piece from Elie Saab's Fall/Winter 2024 collection, showcasing the designer's signature elegance and craftsmanship.

Kavenagh, who plays Nori Brandyfoot in the Amazon Prime Video series, has previously been known for her roles in "True History of The Kelly Gang" and several Australian TV shows, including "Romper Stomper," "Picnic at Hanging Rock," and "The Cry." In interviews, she has emphasized the importance of costumes and makeup in helping her fully embody her characters, noting how these elements bring her closer to the crew and the overall production process.

Just days before Kavenagh's appearance, British actress Nathalie Emmanuel also opted for an Elie Saab creation on the red carpet. Emmanuel attended the Los Angeles premiere of Peacock's "The Killer," wearing a dramatic black-on-black ensemble from Elie Saab's Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2023 collection. The outfit featured a bodice and skirt combination with a thigh-high slit, adding an element of boldness to the look.

"The Killer," directed by John Woo, is a remake of the 1989 classic, with Emmanuel starring as an assassin whose decision to spare a young woman's life leads to unforeseen complications. Emmanuel highlighted Woo's desire to explore the vulnerability and emotional depth of her character, a departure from traditional action stereotypes.
