France beat Belgium with Kolo Muani and Dembele goals

France bounced back in the UEFA Nations League with a 2-0 victory over Belgium, thanks to goals from Randal Kolo Muani and Ousmane Dembele. The win in Lyon followed a disappointing 3-1 home loss to Italy over the weekend. Coach Didier Deschamps made eight changes to the lineup, notably resting captain Kylian Mbappe.

France took the lead just before the half-hour mark when Kolo Muani capitalized on a rebound from Dembele's mishit shot, which was initially saved by Belgian goalkeeper Koen Casteels. In the second half, Dembele extended France's lead with a stunning solo effort, cutting inside from the right before launching a powerful left-footed strike.

Despite efforts from Kevin De Bruyne and the Belgian squad, they were unable to find a way back into the game. Late substitutions for France, including Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann, and Michael Olize, helped secure the victory, which restored some confidence after the loss to Italy.

The win leaves France and Belgium tied on three points in Group A2, while Italy tops the group with six points after a 2-1 victory over Israel. Israel remains without points, and the next round of matches in October will see Italy face Belgium in Rome, and Israel play France in Budapest.
