Saudi artist teams up with Sephora for Founding Day

In celebration of Saudi Arabia's Founding Day, Sephora has collaborated with Saudi visual artist Aseel Al-Yaagoub to create digital illustrations that blend the Kingdom's rich heritage with modern beauty elements. One of the artworks features a henna-adorned hand reaching for a Sephora shopping bag descending with a parachute, set against traditional Arabian architecture. Another depicts two Saudi women in cultural attire applying Sephora makeup, surrounded by palm trees and a patterned bird symbolizing creativity. Al-Yaagoub expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating, "Heritage meets artistry. This Founding Day we’re celebrating Saudi beauty and culture with a special collaboration with Saudi artist."

This initiative is part of Sephora's ongoing efforts to engage with and celebrate local talent in the Middle East. Previously, Sephora collaborated with Saudi makeup artist and social media influencer Waad Al-Turki on a product collection, highlighting the brand's commitment to supporting regional artists and resonating with local audiences.

By partnering with artists like Al-Yaagoub and Al-Turki, Sephora not only honors Saudi Arabia's cultural heritage but also fosters a deeper connection with its customers in the region, showcasing the beauty of blending tradition with contemporary artistry.
