Elyanna shares backstage footage after ‘SNL’ debut

Elyanna recently shared some exclusive backstage footage following her debut on Saturday Night Live (SNL). This appearance marks a significant milestone for the Palestinian-Chilean artist, who has been gaining recognition for her unique blend of Arabic and Latin-influenced pop music. In the backstage clips, Elyanna gives fans a glimpse of the preparation and emotions behind the scenes before and after her performance. Her journey to this major platform reflects her growing international presence, having previously made history as the first artist to sing in Arabic on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

This appearance on SNL follows other key performances, including her collaboration with Coldplay at Glastonbury 2024, showcasing her rising influence in both Western and Arabic music scenes.

Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna made her Saturday Night Live (SNL) debut recently, performing the new track "We Pray" alongside Coldplay and Argentine singer Tini. This collaboration, which Elyanna celebrated on her Instagram by sharing behind-the-scenes footage of her rehearsals, highlights her rising influence in the global music scene. Elyanna, who also released an Arabic version of "We Pray" on Sept. 20, expressed her excitement and pride, especially for the opportunity to represent her Palestinian roots through her music.

Coldplay also performed "All My Love" from their new album Moon Music, which was released just before the show. Elyanna will join the band again in January 2025 during their Music of the Spheres tour in Abu Dhabi.

This SNL performance comes on the heels of Elyanna’s appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas and her earlier performance of the Arabic version of "We Pray" in Dublin. Elyanna has been vocal about her mission to share hope and her Palestinian heritage through her art, and this collaboration with Coldplay is another significant step in her career.
